Tyro EFTPOS Pinpad

You use the PINPAD menu option on the Cash Register File Update screen to register a PINpad in POS.

To register a Tyro EFTPOS PINpad:

Micronet displays the Edit Pin Pads screen.

add a PINpad, select the Add button
delete a PINpad, select the PINpad then select the Delete button
edit a PINpad, double click on a PINpad or select a PINpad then select the Edit button.

If you selected to add or edit a PINpad, Micronet displays the Add/Edit Pin Pad screen.

	Field	Value
	Type	Select Tyro.
	Name	Enter a unique name for the PINpad.
	Network	Enter the network address of the machine with the PINpad. Adjust any firewall settings to allow access.
	Port	Enter the port number.
	PCEFTPOS Print	This field only applies to PC EFTPOS
	SecurePay Address	Select the Set Merchant button to enter the terminal ID.
	Merchant ID	Select the Set Merchant button to enter the merchant ID
	Password	Enter the password for the terminal.

Test – to test Micronet's connection to the PINpad – refer to "Add/Edit Pin Pad - Test Button"
Set Merchant – to enter the terminal ID and merchant ID for the terminal – refer to "Add/Edit Pin Pad - Set Merchant Button"
Ctrl Panel – to display the workstation control panel (PC EFTPOS) or to connect the Tyro Terminal Adapter to your terminal (Tyro EFTPOS) – refer to "Add/Edit Pin Pad - Ctrl Panel Button"
Logon – to logon to the bank (Tyro only) – refer to "Add/Edit Pin Pad - Logon Button".

When you have finished with the Add/Edit Pin Pad screen, select the OK button.

Micronet redisplays the Edit Pin Pads screen.

Micronet redisplays the Cash Register File Update screen.
